Software for pizzerias, fast food and other formats
Not every hospitality business works the same way: a pizzeria lives off collection orders, a fast food outlet off the ticket number, and a food truck off charging quickly with nothing installed. Ordeli is the same system in all of them, with different pieces switched on. This page explains which ones, case by case.
No card, no lock-in and nothing to install.
Only what you use gets switched on
Tables, ticket numbers, takeaway orders or a kitchen screen. Nothing to pay for that your format does not need.
No installation and no hardware
It runs in the browser, so it works for a fixed venue, for a counter and for a van that parks somewhere different every weekend.
The rules are the same for everyone
VeriFactu and TicketBAI are included whatever the format: the Tax Agency does not distinguish between a pizzeria and a food truck.
Pizzerias: most of it walks out of the door
In a pizzeria the dining room is half the business, and sometimes less. The other half is collection orders, with the wrinkle that they are placed in advance and have to be ready at a specific time.
Ordeli gives every order a ticket number and an estimated collection time, and the order lands on the same kitchen screen as the dining room ones, with its clock. The kitchen does not have to watch two places.
- Collection orders with a ticket number, PIN and estimated time.
- Size variants — medium, family — each with its own price.
- The kitchen sees dine-in and collection together, ordered by time.
- No platform commission: the order comes straight in.
Fast food: the ticket number is the system
There are no tables to manage here: there is a queue, a number and a kitchen that has to plate in minutes. What matters is that the customer knows when it is their turn and that the counter does not turn into a jam.
The number is called from the board, the customer can check their order from their phone with their PIN, and when every dish is ready the ticket moves itself to "ready for collection".
Food trucks: nothing installed anywhere
A van changes pitch, changes network and sometimes changes country. Ordeli runs in the browser on whatever connection there is, and the waiter app keeps taking orders without signal and syncs them when it comes back.
There is no server to install and no licence tied to a machine: you log in from any phone or tablet, and payment and invoicing work exactly as in a fixed venue.
Hotel restaurants: the room is another table
A hotel restaurant has the extra problem of timed breakfasts, service sittings and charges that are not settled on the spot.
Ordeli covers areas and opening hours per category — breakfast stops showing at lunchtime — and tables take several rounds and partial closes. Charging to the room is not integrated with any PMS: worth knowing before you start.
Cafes, rotisseries, burger places
The small formats share a profile: high turnover, a low ticket and a menu that changes little. What they need is to take money quickly, lose no time on the bill and close the till balanced.
That is exactly what the Starter plan covers: up to ten tables, one device, QR menu, POS, ordering, cashing up and tax compliance, for €79 a month.
Frequently asked questions
Does this do delivery?
No. Ordeli covers collection: the customer orders, gets a ticket number and comes to pick it up. There are no delivery rounds, no driver dispatch and no integration with the delivery platforms. Most pizza software leads with delivery, so it is worth being clear before you spend time on a trial.
Does it work if I have no tables?
Yes. Takeaway orders work without a table: the order is tied to a ticket number, not to a physical table.
Does it work without a stable connection, like in a food truck?
The waiter app keeps taking orders and changing states offline, and syncs them when the signal returns without duplicating anything. Card payment does need the network, as in any system.
Does it integrate with my hotel PMS to charge to the room?
No. There is no integration with any PMS today, so charging to the room would have to be handled outside Ordeli. If that is essential for you, worth knowing before you start a trial.
What if my format is not on this list?
Write to us and we will look at it. The system is the same; what changes is which pieces get switched on, and it fits most hospitality formats without adaptation.
Does it work with several service points in the same venue?
Yes, using areas: counter, terrace, kiosk. Each can have its own menu and its own state, and it all reconciles in the same cash-up.
What if my business is seasonal and closes half the year?
The subscription has no minimum term, so you can cancel out of season. Your menu, your tables and your history stay put.
